Pelican Fish Waves

Pelicans may be awkward and a little odd shaped on the ground, but in the air they’re one of the most graceful intelligent flyers I’ve seen. Their other side, when food-fishing, transforms them into a flying attack machine at the appropriate time. I’d think sailboat sail plans could be based on some of their advantages. I have no doubt military aircraft have incorporated both their flight advantages and dog-fight style design. Fun to watch
